Major internal injuries

Chronic Illnesses: Long COVID
Symptoms Treated: Acute Covid Symptoms - Worse long time
Side Effects Experienced: Upset Stomach

Took half of prescribed 10 doses. Started having stomach pain after first dose. Stopped treatment after 5 or 6 of the 10 doses. Stomach pain did not go away and got worse and worse- weeks of pain with no relief. Started throwing up 3 weeks after and couldn’t keep water down. Went to ER twice for treatment and exam. Had to take meds to keep food and water down. Could only eat soft, mild food for months. Had an upper endoscopy that showed massive inflammation. The Paxlovid caused internal damage, stomach ulcers, pancreatitis, inflammation. Months to a year of of recovery and pain. Dr. determined it was the Paxlovid.

Took for 10 days (not 5)

Chronic Illnesses: Long COVID
Symptoms Treated: Acute Covid Symptoms - Better short time

Taking this for ten days prevented a bad rebound of my acute COVID symptoms, though I still experienced I rebound. I just took it again for five days after being reinfected at a medical appt and my symptoms rebounded a day and a half later. If taken, I would suggest taking for ten days. It's by far not perfect. Even with the ten day course I rebounded and got long Covid
