Summary

BC Centre for Long COVID, ME/CFS, and Fibromyalgia (BC-CLMF)'s website describes Dr. Ric Arseneau as one of the lead physicians, alongside Dr. Jane McKay, Dr. Lana Dyment, Dr. Liz Nicki, and Dr. Lucia Ma. The clinic provides integrated care for Long COVID, ME/CFS, and fibromyalgia. Group Medication Visits, Special Lecture Series, and content on neuroplasticity are core offerings. A published Social Return on Investment analysis by MNP found that for every $1 invested through the BC Medical Services Plan in the Virtual Group Medical Visit model, about $6.85 in social and economic value is created — projecting $12 million in value over 10 years if the model continues. Resources include medication handouts, videos, baseline testing/evaluation, a POTS handout (NASA Lean Test), a primary care toolkit, ME TV on YouTube, and a referral form. Located in British Columbia, Canada.

Dr. Arseneau's clinic operates solely online, as he has many patients who are house or bedbound. Aside from the initial 1:1 appt, there are regular group visits for various medications, as well as one-off and ongoing weekly sessions on various treatments, conditions, therapeutic modalities, and more. Due to his caseload, and how unique each patient presentation can be, his practice is very patient-led - they provide information and you decide what your course of action will be. Webinars and courses are also offered by external practitioners, with specialties in OT/PT, rheumatism, hypnotism and more. Some of them can be woo, and if that's your jam, cool. His clinic is also the only one in the province that specifically treats this patient population.
